Photoshoot update!

This weekend i have finished my photoshoot for my front cover! I used my friend Tilly Woods as my model and to get a professional style we used a white sheet as our back-drop and a fan for the typical photoshoot effect on her.
I will be uploading the images soon for you to take a look and vote!

PLANNING MY PHOTOSHOOT.

FRONT COVER.

For my front cover, i am going to use a studio shot, of my friend Tilly with the lighting quite bright and a cross process, vintage tone to it.

The shot i plan to capture of Tilly will be a head-shot, so you wont really see her clothes although her makeup will probably be quite natural yet with a splash of colour on her lips possibly. Her hair will probably be straight but i might see how it looks curly have a variation of style within the shots.

Tilly will be the centre of the shot, however i will probably try a number of angles and positions in the shot to see what looks the best although the image i have already created in my mind features her in the centre of the page.

For my double page spread, I am also using Tilly. She is going to be an upcoming artist and there will be an interview with her and quite a few pictures to go along with it. My picture:text ratio is aiming to be 50:50, i thought about having a picture on one page and then text on another but another idea is to have one large picture going horizontally across the top of the two pages (like in my analysis of 'Mojo')

 This is an image of the Location i am planning to go to. I think the woods is a good place to have the shoot because it has interesting landscapes that i can use as backgrounds. The photoshoot is planned for around 12-1pm so the lighting will be most affective, however we might also come back the next day early in the morning to get the sunrise which could look effective also.

Tilly will probably not centre in the image, I like the unbalanced affect because it gives you a chance to include the landscape as well. I will try a number of positions and angles within the frame to see which one has the best look.
