- Lighting - where the shadows fall and how much of the model is exposed to full light.
- Colours -Is the picture going to be B&W or Colour? What colours? Bright or dull? What effect will this give the overall tone of the picture?
- Texture - what textures will feature in the photo and what tone will this give it?
- Tone- The tone of the image, how does it make you feel?
- Foreground - What is in the foreground? Is it eyecatching?
- Background - What is in the background? what does it tell you about the setting? Does it add to the tone of the picture?
- Angles - What angles are used? how does it add to the tone of the image? high or low?
- Framing - Is there a frame within a frame? What does this do to the image?
- Lines and Shapes - Are there lots of lines and shapes in the image? Are they part of the scenery?
I looked at Photographer, RANKIN because he uses lighting really interestingly. This picture of Drew Barrymore
I would like to use this kind of lighting, but with the model facing me instead, i think this could give my magazine cover a really interesting and vintage tone.
